I fell in love with training at a young age. My desire to train was initially nurtured by my desire to lose weight; I spent the greater portion of my teenage years feeling ashamed and guilty of my body. After trying (and succeeding) for years, I wanted to learn more about how bodies move, why they move, and the impact societal norms and pressures have on those individual decisions.
During post-secondary education I studied the hows and whys that bring people to fitness. After completing my Masters Degree, I continued my education in movement and training, and started coaching at PUSH Fitness - a locally owned and operated gym.
Over the years, I have continued to work with clients in person at PUSH Fitness - local to Thunder Bay - while building my remote coaching services to clients online. Whether you’re into heavy lifting or functional fitness, or are looking for some more guidance and support in your training, we can find an option that is best for you.
I have worked with a wide variety of individuals; all ranging in ages, abilities, lived experiences, injuries or goals!
I love getting to know my clients and helping them reach their full potential.
