EMOM - adding a burpee each round
Minute 1: 1 burpee
Minute 2: 2 burpees
Minute 3: 3 burpees
Continue to add 1 burpee per minute until you can no longer complete the given amount of burpees in the minute.
The “Death by” series works the same for all movements! You add one repetition per minute! This little number is a burner! And a great style of workout when you’re short on time. It’s certainly a style I hope to incorporate in the future! So have fun with it.
Substitutes: Choose the burpee variation you KNOW you can complete the longest! This workout starts slow but it gets serious fast. There is no sense in starting with the most challenging variation minute 1- 4 only to have to switch on minute 5. So choose the option you can maintain the longest and start with that for minute 1!
